Regardless, we will support the latest versions of Edge. It is in our plans to do a thorough certification testing at some point, though that is not a top priority for this year. While we haven't officially certified Edge Chromium, many test cases would have been covered in other test cycles. Along similar lines, we test with the latest browser versions. As such it's impractical for us to limit users to a specific version. Users have little control of their browser versions and are commonly kept on the latest version through no decision of their own.
You may have noticed that for Browsers, Tech Docs doesn't specify a version number.
We have been using it in recent testing cycles, though we have not done a full certification. As of June, 2021, the latest information from Gen Product Management is:ġ) We previously certified and supported Edge Legacy, but since Microsoft expired its support on March 9, 2021, we can no longer support it.Ģ) We do support Edge Chromium.
